COURSE DESCRIPTION

This course is interdisciplinary, featuring faculty members from the medical staff at the Erlanger Southeast Regional Stroke Center; as well as finance, management and regulatory administrators. The program provides a tool-kit of ready-to-use resources derived from real-world data sources. A parallel workshop will be offered on detailed insurance claims coding for specialists in this field, if a minimum of five coding specialists might be enrolled in the course. Study resources include financial tools to estimate program IRR-ROI; Joint Accreditation Committee certification and regulatory guidlines; internal study modules and CME materials; billing and coding guidelines; as well as patient logistics and marketing strategies.
