The Pleiades Foundation is a tax exempt 501(c) 3 non-profit, incorporated in the state of Tennessee. Tax exempt contributions are welcome from individuals, philanthropies and other charitable giving.

Unrestricted grants from the corporate sector are encouraged as well. Some corporate grants may be directed towards underwriting the Pleiades Foundation On-Line CME program.

In these instances, the Foundation retains full editorial control and selection of lecturers for its On-Line CME programs. The Pleiades Foundation scrupulously abides by guidelines filed by the US Department of Health and Human Services, Office of Inspector General Compliance Program Guidance for Pharmaceutical Manufacturers issued May 2003.
